Update About Online Classes
Today we realized we need to make a small change to the way we teach our online classes.
Our plan had been for one teacher and one demonstrator to meet at the studio to stream the online class, but after this morning's class I received an email from my son's school announcing the presumptive positive diagnosis of Covid-19 in one of the after-school teachers, and I realized just how quickly this highly contagious virus can hit close to home.
So in order to do a better job of social distancing and slowing the spread of the virus, the TYR Team and I agreed that it's best for our teachers to teach their online classes from home.
It will take me a day or two to train the teachers in how to use the Zoom application for their online classes, so I will need to teach tomorrow's Moderate class in Angela's place. After that you'll start to see a good variety of teachers and class types.
Thank you so much for your patience as we do our best to keep bringing you yoga in the midst of these uncertain and ever-changing circumstances.
To make things easier for you, I'll include the class sign up details from yesterday's note right here, so you don't have to go hunt for it...
All classes will stream live at 9:00 a.m. If you'd like to attend the class but are not available at 9:00 a.m., please register anyway and we'll email you the recording so you can practice at your leisure. Your Membership, Mini Membership, New Student Membership, or Class Pack can be used to secure your registration in our online classes.
To register for a class:
Visit our Class Schedule page.
Click on a Sign Up button, which will redirect you to our MindBody site.
Log into our MindBody site with your email address we have on file.
Click the green button to make your reservation.
If needed, set up a Class Pack.
Please note that Members and Mini Members will have access to ALL our recorded classes. If you prefer to sign up for Membership or Mini Membership, please do so by clicking here, then register for your classes.
An hour prior to your class time we'll email you the class link. Joining class is easy - you can join on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
To prepare for your first online class, find a spot in your home where you can lay out your yoga mat and any props you might need, and also have your computer/tablet/phone propped up in a place where you can see and hear it.
Thank you again for maintaining your practice and supporting our studio during this challenging time.
Please feel welcome to reply to this message with any questions. We look forward to seeing you!
Love,
