It's Official - We're Moving!
I'm excited to officially announce that The Yoga Room is moving! After 3 years in our current beautiful little space, we'll be moving at the end of September to our new, bigger home on Palm Valley Blvd (aka 79). Our new address will be 503 E. Palm Valley Blvd. It's located just east of Mays.
For more than a year I have been searching for the perfect space to host our new home. It wasn't easy! I wanted a space that was centrally located in Round Rock, easy to access, with lots of natural light and sufficient parking, and whose floorplan would lend itself to becoming a yoga studio.
With the help of my sharp, savvy, and patient realtor, we scoured every corner of Round Rock and even Cedar Park and Pflugerville! In the end we found the perfect spot in Round Rock and we managed to create a perfect floorplan.
Our new home will feature two studios, so we're excited about being able to offer more classes at times that are most convenient for you. We'll also have a lobby and two restrooms, so if you arrive early for your class you'll be able to come in, change your clothes if needed, and have a chance to breathe and relax a bit before your class starts.
Schedule
We appreciate your patience as we go through a pair of schedule adjustments in preparation for moving to the new studio.
We're offering our current schedule of classes through September 1st. As you probably know, we're participating in Austin's Free Day of Yoga on Labor Day, September 2nd. Here's the FDoY schedule. If you'd like to RSVP for a class, please do so ASAP because many of the classes are almost full.
We're offering the following schedule at our current studio September 3rd - 27th as we prepare for our move to the new studio. The classes marked with blue stars feature a new class type or a new teacher.
In the next week or so we'll publish the new schedule for the new studio. We expect to begin classes at the new studio on Sept 28th and when they do we'll be offering over 45 classes per week!
Thank you!
I'd like to offer my sincere gratitude to the all wonderful TYR teachers who share their love of yoga with you and me everyday. And I'd also like to thank YOU for being part of the studio, and sharing your time, your spirit, and and your practice with us teachers and your fellow students.
It's amazing to me what a beautiful community of yogis we have become over the past three years. Any person who enters the studio can feel the love and energy we have infused into the room. Without you and without the teachers, the growth and success of the studio would not be possible.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about our move, I'd love to hear them! Please post your thoughts in the Comments section below.
A great big hug and a happy dance, Zelinda
