About Abby

My first yoga class was a really big step for me. I'd played sports all through school but somehow fell off the healthy/ active path. After a very debilitating back injury, it was apparent some new path had to be my future. And thus my journey started...

Fast forward many years later, I've come to understand so much more about myself and my body through yoga!

In a yoga class: I feel excited, and energetic about my life and have a deep appreciation for my body and its abilities. Teaching offers me the challenge and the joy of self-discovery through the process of yoga. It allows me to contribute to my students and society in a way that makes me feel good. Optimistically, I want to offer my students what my teachers so graciously offered me. My students can, and will feel, that they can grow and learn about their breath, body, and mindfulness. Feeling good physically and balanced when they've completed their 'practice' is the goal.

Remember, your journey is uniquely yours. As you leave the mat and go out into the world....use what you've learned in yoga. And remember to enjoy your journey!

What Our Students Say

  • “I have been resistant to yoga because I am not athletic and I’m not neurotypical. Then my body changed drastically after a baby at 42 and now at 50 I’m postmenopausal. My only regret is that I didn’t take Zelinda’s Beg. Yoga Workshop sooner. Round Rock Yoga is body neutral and trauma-informed. I am now practicing at home and signed up for another yoga workshop and will be starting weekly yoga classes. I’m very grateful for Zelinda’s introduction to a practice that is already helping me with my body and mind.”

  • “I enjoyed this Beginner Series very much. The atmosphere was amazing and inclusive. I could actually do everything because there were so many variations taught. I left feeling great and I would like to continue to practice yoga.”
