Get started with yoga with our 4 week Beginners Series!
A consistent yoga practice boosts the health of your body and mind.
In the Beginners Series, you’ll learn:
Common yoga poses and how to customize them to suit your unique body
What to expect in a typical yoga class
How to comfortably improve your strength, flexibility, and balance
How to use the various yoga props
We teach yoga that is accessible for people with all kinds of bodies. Everyone is welcome!
Classes are 60 minutes long and meet once a week for four weeks.
Registration is limited to 12 participants; please register early to secure your spot.

About Courtney
Courtney started practicing yoga as a teenager and has been practicing some form of yoga for almost 20 years.
Her goal is to share the power of having a yoga practice in life. She wants everyone to know that yoga is approachable no matter where you find yourself. She is heavily influenced by the traditional practices and sutras. Her main objective in teaching is to make yoga accessible and valuable to each person who comes into class. She believes in helping students find physical, emotional, and energetic healing through their own yoga practice.
Her specialty is gentle practices focusing on energetic healing, mindfulness, and gentle movement. She especially enjoys teaching people new to yoga and those open to using yoga to heal the body & mind.
Courtney uses yoga as a tool to manage her own chronic illness and complex PTSD and believes yoga makes her a better person and allows her to be present. Through yoga, she has found joy and relief and she loves sharing that with others.

That’s perfectly fine! Yoga will help you gently improve your flexibility, range of motion, and mobility.

That’s no problem at all. We teach yoga that is very adaptable. Sometimes we use chairs rather than sitting on the floor. We also have a raised platform that makes it possible to comfortably sit and lie down without having to get on the floor.

We always recommend checking with your doctor before starting any new exercise. In our teaching, we emphasize that every yoga pose should feel comfortable for your body. If any posture causes pain, please notify your teacher so they can recommend an appropriate modification.
