Do you often experience neck pain, headaches, and/or jaw clenching? These are signs of excessive tension in your neck and shoulders. Why do you have so much tension in your neck and shoulders? Typically, it’s caused by a combination of poor posture habits and loss of strength.

Let’s improve your posture and increase your strength to get you out of pain!

Therapeutic Yoga for Neck & Shoulder Tension is a two hour workshop hosted by Zelinda Yanez, the founder of Round Rock Yoga. Zelinda completed Yoga Therapist training at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai in 2023, and has been teaching yoga for over 18 years.

In this workshop, Zelinda will guide you through the therapeutic approach to reducing tension in your neck and shoulders.

  • First, you’ll learn how to relax your muscles with gentle stretching and relaxation.

  • Second, you’ll learn how to increase your strength - specifically in your abdominal muscles and upper back.

  • Third, you’ll learn critical good posture habits for everyday activities, like sitting in front of the computer, driving, standing, and watching TV.

By the end of the workshop, your neck and shoulders will start to feel better. You’ll go home with a customized yoga practice program so you can continue reducing tension, building strength, and feeling great. Sign up now to begin enjoying a more comfortable body!

  • What Our Students Say

“What I like most about Round Rock Yoga is that it defies the perception that yoga is for special people (“spiritual”, “flexible”, etc.). I always feel welcome despite my lack of experience and I learned through the years that relatively simple yoga exercises carry great benefits if done consistently. I credit Zelinda for that and am grateful 🙏”
