Do You Have Too Much Stuff?

Do you have too much stuff? Do you feel like you’re drowning in stuff? Have you reached the point where you’re actively trying to reduce your amount of stuff? When holidays and birthdays roll around, do you stress because you don’t want to give gifts that are just going to create more unwanted stuff in your friends’ and families’ houses?

My personal answer to all of these questions is “Yes!!!” My stuff fills my drawers, cabinets, and closets. It clutters my countertops. I’m at that limit, and over the past few months I’ve been actively trying to reduce. I think a lot of us are.

With this in mind, we’ve created a special new gift-giving (and -receiving!) option at The Yoga Room. It’s our new gift registry which we’ve named “Wish List.”

Much like a wedding registry or a baby registry, it’s designed to help you list the products or services you’re interested in receiving. So when your friends and family ask you what you want for your birthday (or any occasion), they can gift you something that you really want that isn’t going to created more unneeded *stuff* in your house.

Here’s how it works: Fill out your Wish List here to tell us the gifts you’d like to receive.

The next time you come to the studio, we’ll have ready for you a set of Wish List cards that include our contact information. When someone asks you what they can get you for your upcoming special occasion, tell them you’d love something from The Yoga Room and hand them a Wish List card.

They’ll contact us, and we’ll handle the rest!

I’m really excited about this idea for a couple of reasons. Of course one is that this is a great way to reduce the stress of giving and receiving gifts that may not be exactly what a person wants. The other is that it’s a beautiful way to give the gift of wellness. And there’s nothing on earth more treasured than that.
