This is what Emily had to say about recent participants:
At the end of the series I was so happy to see that the students were able to take what they had learned in class and create a home practice to help themselves address their chronic pain. Seeing that they felt empowered and were actually able to find some relief through what they learned is so rewarding.
If you are living with chronic pain due to an issue in your Back, Spine, Neck, or Shoulders, I encourage you to consider attending one of these series to learn how create your own customized yoga practice and find some relief.
And if you know someone who might benefit from one of these series, please consider sharing this information with them.
All my best,
Zelinda
Advanced Teacher Training Program is Recognized
I hope you're having a good week!
Did you know that we were recently recognized by YogaAlliance as a Registered Yoga School for our Advanced (300 Hour) Teacher Training program? It's pretty exciting news!
We've been a Registered Yoga School for our 200 Hour Teacher Training program for a few years now. So this new news means that our 200 Hour graduates, as well as graduates of other teacher training programs, can now come to us for Advanced Training focused on therapeutics and making yoga accessible and beneficial for all people, regardless of age, gender, flexibility, fitness, or condition, which, as you know, is a style of yoga we believe there needs to be more of in the world!
If you're interested in learning more about our Teacher Training programs, for yourself or for a friend, you can read more about them on our website. We also share tips for yoga teachers and people interested in becoming yoga teachers in two places:
Teacher Training Tuesdays
On Tuesdays, Emily, our Director of Teacher Training, and I do live interactive videos on Facebook. You can tune in to our Facebook page on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. to watch our live video and interact with us by posting in the comments section. We share a lot of great information about yoga, yoga practice, teaching yoga, things to think about if you're considering yoga teacher training, and more, and we have a lot of fun, too. Don't worry if you miss the live video at 11:00 - the videos are recorded and posted so you can always check them out after the fact.
Teacher Training Newsletter
We also share information about teaching yoga and updates about our Teacher Training programs in our Teacher Training Newsletter. Please make sure to sign up for thenewsletter if the idea of Teacher Training sounds interesting to you, even if it's a far-off-in-the-future long term goal.
In Person Meetings
If you think you might be interested in registering for either Teacher Training program in 2017, we'd be happy to meet with you to discuss any questions you may have. Just send us a note and we can schedule a time to meet!
Have a great week!
All my best,
Zelinda
