Shopping Trip

Went shopping. Bought some much needed kurthis (knee-length Indian tops) to go with my leggings, for class. Bought some harem pants because they were awesome. Bought short kurthis to go with the harem pants. Bought flip flops so I can have an "outside" pair and an "inside" pair. Bought these rings because they're turquoise (Buddhist turquoise!?) and I've been wanting a turquoise ring and I love them. Had dinner and tea with my cousin-brother-in-law who is awesome and drove me all around town. Great day. I learn something every day. Today I learned I need to not go in any more shops because everything here is beautiful and I want to buy it all and take it home. Might still have to go back for some super cute tiny pillows I saw. 😉

Mason Jars, Down!

Trying to be green and reduce waste backfired on me. Both of my mason jars broke inside my luggage. 🙁 I usually carry at least one jar with me at all times, and they're especially great for travel. They're really versatile and can be used as a water container, to-go coffee cup, to store leftovers, to carry a snack, etc. Sadly, I have no jars for the next month. At least I have my thermos and my reusable utensils, cloth napkins, and reusable bags from home.
