Hello there, friend!
How are you? We hope you're having a good week so far. We're sending you a big virtual hug!
Over the last few weeks, we've been noticing some new faces in our online classes and series, and it brought to our attention a silver lining to the temporary closure of our physical studio space. For the first time ever, students don't have to be local to practice yoga at The Yoga Room!
Do you know someone who would enjoy our style of accessible yoga? Please feel welcome to share our daily online classes and our upcoming online series and workshops with friends and family near and far. We wouldn't be here today without your support, and we can't thank you enough for attending our classes, sending notes of encouragement, and being part of our community. Thank you!
We have several great offerings coming up in May, including our first ever online Beginners Series! All offerings below include live Zoom online sessions, plus recordings of each session in case you aren't able to attend live or want to practice the class again.

Maintain Your Health with Online Yoga, Plus Studio Closure Update
I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well. It's such a strange time right now, with the prolonged self-isolation, schooling from home, changes to our work (or worse, loss of work), and people having such varied views about the correct path to move forward. We sure are managing a lot of stressors right now.
At The Yoga Room, we've been adapting on a day-to-day basis so that we can continue providing support for your physical, mental, and emotional health with online yoga instruction. Please remember that EveryBody can do yoga; it's just a matter of finding the right practice for you. Here are some ways you can practice with us:
Free videos on our YouTube channel. Make sure to Subscribe to our channel and click the notification bell so that you'll receive an email when we upload new videos.
Daily online classes via Zoom. Click here for our Class Schedule and information about how to register. Make sure to read about our Membership and Mini-Membership options to help keep yourself motivated to practice consistently.
Workshops and Series on specialized topics. Click here to read more about what's coming up in the next few weeks (Sensitive Souls, Deep Relaxation, and Strengthening for Bigger Bodies), and to register.
Reopening Strategy
This week Governor Abbott announced that gyms (the category yoga studios fall under) can reopen at 25% capacity on May 18. While we look forward to the day we can reopen, we won't be ready to reopen our physical studio on May 18th. Our highest priority is to keep our students and staff safe, so we'll continue to monitor the infection rate and new developments related to the coronavirus for the time being.
When we do get to the point that we feel comfortable reopening, we'll continue offering online instruction so that people who feel safest practicing from home, and people outside the Round Rock area, can continue practicing with us.
We look forward to seeing you online!
All the best,
