CYNTHIA

Cynthia started practicing yoga in 2014 when she was struggling to accept her body after her first pregnancy. Her perception of yoga changed a lot after her second pregnancy when she noticed that a mindful practice helped with the pain she was experiencing. Similarly, her yoga practice was the key to dealing with back pain and anxiety before a recent surgery and in her post-op recovery. She recently completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in the Krishnamacharya Tradition at The Yoga Room in Round Rock, Texas.

Cynthia loves to teach a practice of yoga where people can feel that the practice is appropriate for them. She believes that we all can practice yoga, no matter your age, body type, strength, or flexibility. It’s important to Cynthia to share an understanding of the yoga teachings in her class so the students can apply them in their everyday life.

Cynthia is originally from Mexico and came to the US in 2010. After spending more than 10 years working as an engineer, she decided to live a life prioritizing her own peace and joy following the desires of her soul. Cynthia is a facilitator and transformational coach of “El Código del Amor” (Translation: The Love Code), which is a method to reconnect with your sacred feminine energy. Cynthia teaches online yoga in Spanish and, when not teaching, likes to paint and enjoys her time with her family.
